Nikki’s juggling a lot this month. A reality TV crew is following Nikki and her friends as they record their hit song together, plus there are voice lessons, dance practice, and little sister Brianna’s latest wacky hijinks. Nikki’s sure she can handle everything, but will all the excitement cause new problems for Nikki and Brandon, now that cameras are everywhere Nikki goes?

5th grade daughter LOVES these.
My daughter just turned 11.she was skeptical about reading these books as she thought it was some kind of ripoff to Diary of A Wimpy Kid. I bought her first book at the schools book fair. She was hooked. I've never seen her want to read a book as much as this series. She now has all 12 books and is currently on her 6th one. Also, I was gladly surprised that the AR point value at school for most of these are 4 and 5 points. Which adds up quickly. The Wimpy Kid books are not usually that high in point value.

My daughter has read all of these multiple times and she loved this one too. I only wish they took her a little longer to read, because we struggle to keep her in books that have acceptable content (not sexual or too advanced in content) but still challenging for her. She reads several grades ahead and loves these and i know theres not unacceptable content in them. :) She also loves the Warrior books, so if youre trying to find another book for your daughter who liked these books the warrior series is a good one to look at, especially in Manga form. :)
Fun!
Fun cute clever and engaging. My boys have read this as a follow-up to the wimpy kid books because when they first saw them I saw pictures drawn on lined paper they thought they were just another version of it. They are but there have a little more intelligence to them and a little more of a teenage experience which makes sense for my boys even though it’s about girls.

I don't think of it as good, great, or amazing.IT'S FANTASTIC!!!! I read all of the other books in order and it totally makes sense on how she feels. It's more of a pick up of the the third book and the one before this one. If you skipped all the other books, and you liked this one, you MUST read the ones before this one. I'm getting the new one, without doubt!

First of all, you know this book is great if it has an overall five star rating, only 4 four star ratings, and no three, two, or one star ratings at all!!! Second of all, there is absolutely no reason to hate this book, haha. It brings out your emotion, like when Nikki is mad at MacKenzie you feel mad as well. And when she is happy for whatever reason, you kinda feel that way too, well at least with me. I've read ALL of the books in this series and this is one of the best. Can't wait for the next book!!! ~<3~

This one was not my favorite because it seems a little far fetched. But then again its a fun childrens books series and who doesn't think about being a hot celeb when they're a kid? Or an adult?

Great book
I'm a sixth grader and I have been reading this series since I was about ten and it's not perfect but it is still a great, fun read. People have complained about it being inappropriate for kids younger than 9. It's written for kids 9 and up and I do not recommend it for kids under that age. People also said it's unrealistic. It's a kids book. Its fantasy aspect makes a good read. Sure, no kid would get their own reality TV show, but that's not what it's supposed to be. I strongly recommend this book and the rest of the series.
